About Tamara
Tamara Kronis is your common sense Conservative candidate in Nanaimo—Ladysmith. She’s running to put Canada first and deliver results for our riding and Vancouver Island.
Tamara believes in the promise of Canada, a country that has welcomed people from all over the world and made them a promise of opportunity and equality. For her family and countless others, Canada has delivered on that promise: a place where anyone, from anywhere, could be anything.
The NDP-Liberal coalition has put Canada at risk with reckless spending and misguided policies. They’ve left too many of us economically vulnerable and our country unprepared for the challenges we face today.
Tamara became a lawyer because she believes no one should have to fight alone. Now she wants to work for you. The common sense Conservative plan to put Canada first will diversify and strengthen our economy—get resource projects built, while caring for our environment—create jobs, restore confidence in government and deliver recovery-based solutions for our mental health, addictions and public safety crisis.
Tamara has been married to Martin for more than 20 years. They are the proud parents of two teenagers and a pup named Austin. When she’s not knocking on doors, you might find Tamara bartending at the Legion, sport shooting at Nanaimo Fish and Game, volunteering, playing bridge or enjoying a nearby nature trail.
