Jaspal Atwal

March 01, 2018

Jaspal Atwal, a convicted attempted murderer, was invited to dine with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at an event hosted by the Canadian High Commissioner last week. Despite being uninvited to the State Dinner, Atwal attended official events all week and is well-known in Liberal circles.

In response, Trudeau’s office forced a senior member of the civil service to engage in frantic damage control, peddling that Jaspal Atwal may have been planted at an event with the Prime Minister by the Indian government, Indian security agencies or factions in the Indian government.

Justin Trudeau has doubled down on this accusation.

This prompted India’s Ministry of External Affairs to release a statement calling the accusation “baseless and unacceptable.”

Justin Trudeau’s reckless behavior and poor judgment are embarrassing Canada.
