It is no doubt that Malcolmson is a big fan of Jagmeet Singh. The MP endorsed the then leadership candidate during the leadership race. Now with the controversy surrounding Singh's leadership style, it seems that Malcolmson is sticking to her guns.
The central piece to the issue according to Malcolmson is Weir's media release. Not the flawed process. Not the fact that 60+ former NDP politicians signed a letter calling on Singh to change his decision after a "flawed process". Not the fact that a man's entire career has been destroyed over several allegations that he has worked to change and learn from.
